| In New Orleans,
a city with arguably the richest collection of jazz and funk musicians on the planet, Eddie Bo
stands as one of the bayou's most revered and loved musicians. Each year, at New Orleans Jazz
& Heritage Festival, seats to Eddie's annual performance at the Blues Tent are some of the
most sought after spots of the entire six-day, 200,000+ person event. And each year, Eddie and
his beaming spirit bring the entire audience to its feet in utter jubilation.
Having been born into a distinguished New Orleans musical family in the 1930's and raised surrounded by talented piano players - including Fats Domino and Professor Longhair, Eddie Bo gives Honolulu residents a rare chance to immerse themselves in New Orleans' beautiful musical culture without ever leaving their backyards. In the cozy confines of the acoustic marvel that is the rRed Elephant, each attendee will be able to savor every note and literally reach out and touch Eddie's glowing persona. |

persistence and staying power." "Bo
Knows Music: He was there when the beat began in the early days of New Orleans funk, and
he's still pounding it out today." |
